Pemaquid Triptych 1

Oil on 3 - 4"x4" wood panels, custom framed in a black wood triptych box

It's day 31 of the August Facebook painting marathon. I met my personal goal of 30 paintings. They have not all been posted yet, so stay tuned for more postings. This triptych is one I did yesterday at Pemaquid Point. I have painted there for many years, never has it been so hot. Very unusual weather. You can sign up to receive my email newsletter if you go to my website: http://www.kathleendaughan.com/. Click on the newsletter link and enter your email address. I'll be sending out my first newsletter in a week or so. I don't plan to send them so frequently that you'll be inundated. Just once in awhile. Would love to have all my blog followers join in.

New Harbor Triptych 1

Oil on 3 4x4 panels in a custom made frame

Triptych from my New Harbor weekend. This is the view from my cottage. It was so great to just hop out to the deck and paint. This is photographed in the new custom made frame. Click on the photo to enlarge, look closely and you can make out the edges of the frame. They look really great. This painting is available on my website: http://www.kathleendaughan.com/

Plein Air Painters of Maine

Plein Air Painters of Maine has a show this week at the allen david Gallery in Boothbay Harbor. The reception is Friday 5-8. I think I had the wrong date on my show schedule page. If you want to see some great plein air work stop by the Gallery anytime in the next week, or better if you can make it to the reception. Allen always has a great reception with good food and live music. The painting above is included in the show. You can also purchase this painting from my website: Kathleen Daughan Fine Art
